サロンドムヤ サロンドムヤ サロンドムヤ

Thank you for visiting the Salon de Muya's website.
We run the café located on a quiet off-street where you can enjoy a cup of green powdered tea (Matcha) and Japanese traditional sweets. The café is situated near the rear approach of the Hokkaido Jingu (Shrine) in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

We provide some opportunities to learn Japanese culture, such as an Urasenke-style tea ceremony(Chado), a Shino-style incense ceremony (Kodo), a Kimono wearing (Kitsuke), a dwarfed ornamental tree (Bonsai) and a Kaga-style Thimble (Yubinuki).

We also organize seasonal tea ceremonies for beginners and oversea visitors as a culture experience. Please contact us, if you would be interested.

We established a brand name "GAHOJIN". It is a special word from "Zen" terminology which means enlightment starts with meeting someone new. For the sharing of hearts and minds broadens one's horizons without limit.
When Zen master Mr. Dogen went to China to meet his teacher, he realized this.

We are looking forward to you visiting our store.
